VPS Hosting

High-performance virtual private servers on Proxmox with dedicated resources, full root access, and a 99.9% uptime SLA.

What you get

  • Dedicated CPU and RAM — not oversold; the cores and memory you order are reserved for your VM
  • SSD storage — NVMe-backed; fast random I/O for databases and high-IOPS workloads
  • Full root access — install any operating system, any software stack
  • DDoS protection — Layer 3/4 mitigation at the edge, included
  • Instant provisioning — most VMs go from order to SSH-ready in under 5 minutes

Plans

Plan vCPU RAM SSD Use case
Starter 2 2 GB 40 GB Personal projects, dev environments, single-app deployments
Professional 4 8 GB 100 GB Production web apps, small databases, CI runners
Enterprise 8 16 GB 250 GB Multi-service stacks, larger databases, busy production workloads

Need more? Custom configurations (up to 32 vCPU / 128 GB RAM / 2 TB SSD) are available on request.

Provisioning a VPS

  1. Sign in at cloud.capricorncorp.com
  2. Click VPS Hosting → New VPS
  3. Pick a plan (Starter / Professional / Enterprise / Custom)
  4. Pick a region (Mumbai / Bengaluru / Delhi — Indian data residency by default)
  5. Pick an OS image (Ubuntu / Debian / AlmaLinux / Rocky / Windows Server)
  6. Set your initial root password OR upload an SSH public key
  7. Confirm billing — payment processed via Razorpay or PhonePe (GST invoice included)
  8. Provisioning takes 2-5 minutes; SSH details land in your dashboard + email

Networking

  • Public IPv4 — included; routable from anywhere
  • IPv6 — included; /64 allocated per VM
  • Private VLAN — VMs in your account can be placed on a shared private VLAN at no charge
  • Inbound firewall — Cloudflare-style rules configurable per VM from the dashboard

Backups

  • Automated nightly snapshots — 7-day retention included
  • Manual snapshot before changes — 1-click from the dashboard
  • Off-host backup — optional add-on; backed up to a second physical location nightly

Common operations

Reboot

From the dashboard: VPS → Power → Reboot. Soft reboot (graceful) is the default; hard reboot is available if the OS is unresponsive.

Resize

From the dashboard: VPS → Resize → pick new plan. Resize is in-place when downsizing isn't involved; downsizing requires a brief offline window.

Re-image

From the dashboard: VPS → Re-image. Wipes the disk and installs a fresh OS image. Disk contents are unrecoverable after this — take a snapshot first.

Limits

  • Outbound SMTP is blocked by default to protect IP reputation. If you need to send email from your VPS, use Business Email for transactional/account email, or request a relay path via support.
  • Cryptocurrency mining is prohibited under the terms of service.
